The Japanese automaker Toyota upcoming compact cross SUV Toyota Taisor is set to launch in India on April 3, 2024. With this launch the Taisor will joins the lineup of collaborative models between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, following the Baleno-Glanza, Grand Vitara-Hyryder, and Hycross-Invicto pairs. With its stylish design and competitive pricing, the Toyota Taisor aims to appeal to mid-class families in India.

In India the Toyota Taisor, a compact urban crossover will offer two engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 5 speed Manual or an AMT transmission option which can generate 90 PS power output  and 113 Nm torque. The second engine option will be  a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission option which can produce 100 PS power output and 148 Nm torque.

The hybrid powertrain is expected to offer impressive fuel efficiency, with an estimated EPA-estimated 52 mpg city/50 mpg highway. The Taisor is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, enhancing rigidity, improved handling, and stability.

It also features unparalleled safety features such as ISOFIX mounts for child seats, front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and pedestrian protection compliance.
